Obituary for Robert Melton
Died at Victoria Hospital, London on Wednesday, December 14, 2016. ROBERT JOHN MELTON, 71 years, was a lifelong farmer in Enniskillen Township. Best friend and beloved husband for 48 years to Diane (nee Brown). Proud and loving Dad to Dana and her husband Bruce Lowe and Dean Melton and his wife Tina Langlois-Groves. Adoring Grandpa to Blake and Bradley Lowe and Taylor and Brady Melton. Dear brother of James and the late Colleen and Kenneth and Darlene Melton and brother-in-law to Karen and Leo Burns. He was predeceased by his parents Garnet and Jean Melton. Bob was an employee of Polysar/Bayer for 36 years before retiring in 2000. Visitors will be received on Friday, December 16, 2016 from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. at the Needham-Jay Funeral Home, Petrolia. A private funeral service will be held at a later date. Interment will be in Hillsdale Cemetery. As expressions of sympathy, memorial donations may be made to C.E.E. Hospital Foundation or the charity of your choice.
