Robert (Al) Pearson
November 22, 1940 – January 18, 2017
A long time resident of the Cowichan Valley, Al peacefully died in his wife’s arms at the Cowichan District hospital with his family by his side..
He suffered numerous and unexpected complications from bone cancer and he has now shed his pain. He is mourned by his wife Jackie, sons David and Donald (Ruth) and grandsons Emmett and Nate.
We are extremely grateful to Dr. Wenzel-Smith, Dr. Masuda, Dr. Green of the MAID program and the Home Care staff for helping Al with the most difficult part of his journey through life.
At Al’s request, there will be no service, but a private celebration of life will be held in the summer.
If desired, donations in his name may be made to the Cowichan Valley Hospice Society.
