Passed away peacefully surrounded by his family on Wednesday, August 2nd 2017 at the age of 86. A devoted and loving husband of 60 years to Eva Maria, cherished father to Christine (Dan), Ingrid (Ted), Martin (Nury) and Suzie and proud Opa to Tara (Devon), Caitlin (Derrick), Kira, Derek, Erik, Vanessa and Kayley. Great grandfather to Kai and Owen.
He will also be greatly missed by numerous family members and friends throughout North America, Germany and Australia.
With much gratitude to the devoted and loving caregivers at St. Anne’s Hospital and a special thank you to Rideau Memorial Gardens & Funeral Home for their attention and care given to the family.
A visitation will be held at Rideau Funeral Home, 4275 Boulevard des Sources, Dollard des Ormeaux, Quebec on Friday, September 29th from 3pm to 5pm for those wishing to pay their respects.
A memorial will be held on Saturday, September 30th at Saint Thomas Aquinas Parish from 11:00 – 12:00 pm, 413 Main Street, Hudson, Quebec J0P 1H0. Following the mass, the family will have a private burial at Rideau Memorial Gardens in Dollard des Ormeaux.
