Real Eugene Rondeau of Lethbridge, Alberta passed away peacefully, after a lengthy illness, at St. Mike’s Palliative Unit on December 28, 2016 at the age of 64.
Real was born in Cowansville, Quebec to Lucille Robinson and the late Eugene Rondeau.
He met BettyAnn and together they had a son Jonathan. Four years later in 1978 they moved to Alberta where they had two daughters, Melissa and Jennifer.
Dad loved cats and dogs, snowmobiles and motorcycles were his passion. He also loved cars and won many trophies for his artistic paint jobs. Dad was hilarious, kind and had many friends. Dad worked at Cor Van Raay Farms and made many friends, who were like family.
Real is survived by siblings Lise Rondeau, Johanne (Guy) Benoit, Sylvie Rondeau; son Jonathan Rondeau; daughters Melissa (Byron) Leavitt, grandson Jaxon, Jennifer (Brandon) Rondeau, grandsons Riley, Brady, Oakland and Lucas and his Husky dog Yukon, who was like a son; mother-in-law Joyce (the late Morris) Crittenden; sisters-in-law Hope (Roy) Gage, Carmen (Conrad) Bedard, Linda Fernihough, Kay (Terry) Crittenden, as well as numerous nieces, nephews and their families.
Per Real’s wishes, there will be no service.
