THORNE, Raymond Kevin “Pa”
Peacefully at The Brant Centre on Monday, March 13, 2017 at the age of 87. Beloved husband of Helen Nellie Thorne. Loving step father of Thomas (Maxine), Mary-Lou, the late Bill, the late Harold, the late Kenneth and the late Elizabeth. Cherished grandfather of Kevin, Theresa (Steven), Aaron (Jenn), Ryan, Kim (Jeff), Randy and Betty-Lou and great grandfather of Keon, Nash, Adam, Olivia, Harrison, Hodgson, Ashley, Devon and Kayleigh. Ray is predeceased by his siblings Vonda, Gordon and Norman. Visitation will be held at SMITH’S FUNERAL HOME, 485 Brant Street, (one block north of City Hall), BURLINGTON (905-632-3333), on Saturday, March 18, 2017 from 12 noon until time of funeral service in the chapel at 1p.m. Those wishing to make a donation in memory of Pa are asked to please consider World Wildlife Fund or the Canadian Cancer Society.
