Côté, Pierrette Thérèse [Sansoucy] – It is with great sadness that the family announces the passing of Pierrette Côté on Sunday June 11, 2017 at the Temiskaming Hospital. Pierrette died peacefully surrounded by her loving family at the age of 59 years.
She was born in Belle-Vallée on September 23, 1957 to the late Raymond Sansoucy and Jeanine Laurin. Pierrette will be remembered as a lady with a big heart always putting the needs of others before her own. She was proud of her hometown of Belle-Vallée and took pride in helping out with community events and at her church. She also enjoyed fishing and would often outfish those with her. Pierrette will also be remembered for her wonderful cooking and baking abilities. She was a loving and devoted wife, mother, grandmother, daughter, sister and friend. She enjoyed any time spent with her family. Her presence will be greatly missed.
Pierrette is predeceased by her father Raymond and by her brother Claude. She is survived by her loving husband Michel Côté; her cherished children Mélissa Côté [Dwane Sutton], Claude Côté [Meghan Moore], Réjean Côté [ Sylviane Labonté] and by her treasured grandchildren Maude, Jaxson and Bailey. Also left to mourn is her mother Mrs Jeanine Sansoucy and her siblings Marcel [Jocelyne] Sansoucy, Lorraine [Gaetan] Lacroix, Suzanne [Serge] Laferrière, Yves [Sylvie] Sansoucy, Marc [Lisa] Sansoucy and Alain [Josée] Sansoucy.
The Côté family will welcome friends at Église Notre-Dame-De-Bon-Secours 6 Boulevard Saint Joseph Belle-Vallée, Friday June 16, 2017 beginning at 10:00am. Memorial mass will follow at Église Notre-Dame-De-Bon-Secours at 11:00 am. L’abbé Germain Turcotte / Father Germain Turcotte officiating.
