Phyllis Pierzchala
Beloved mother, grandmother, aunt and friend passed away in the Crowsnest Pass Health Centre on July
20, 2017. Phyllis was born in Lethbridge, AB on June 11, 1930 to Robert and Mary Graham. She is survived
by her sons Rene (Patty) of Revelstoke, BC and Robert (Kathy) of Victoria, BC, 4 grandchildren and 15 great
grandchildren. She was predeceased by her husband Otto Comin, daughter Rhonda and older brother
John Graham.
Phyllis was left to raise 3 young children on her own after the sudden passing of Otto in 1964 and despite
this tragedy and many others encountered in her life she continued to find joy in serving and loving others
unconditionally. Her home was always a peaceful refuge from the world where one could find a listening
ear, encouraging words and coffee that was sometimes hot. Memories of time spent with her, her life of
service, her unconditional love and her hugs will be cherished by family and friends for generations.
