Obituary for Peter Daniel Wozney
It is with profound sadness and heavy hearts that the family of Peter Daniel Wozney announce his passing on Wednesday, December 6, 2017 at the age of 56 years.
Beloved husband of Susan; proud father of Tegan and Mikayla; caring son, brother, uncle and friend.
Peter will be forever loved and remembered as a devoted husband and father. He will also be remembered for the compassion he exhibited to all those around him. Peter will be deeply missed by all those who knew him. Predeceased by his parents, Paul and Helen Wozney; father-in-law, Milan Sakic; and nephew, Steven Wozney.
Prayer Service Thursday, December 14 at 7:00 p.m. at Park Memorial Chapel, 9709 – 111 Avenue, Edmonton.
Burial Service Friday, December 15 at 11:00 a.m. at St. Josaphat Ukrainian Catholic Cathedral, 10825 – 97 Street, with interment in St. Michael’s Cemetery. In lieu of other tributes, donations may be made to the Brain Centre Campaign, University of Alberta Hospital Foundation, 1H1.91 WMC, 8440 – 112 Street NW, Edmonton, AB T6G 2B7 or the Heart and Stroke Foundation of Alberta, NWT & Nunavut, Suite 144, 5241 Calgary Trail NW, Edmonton, AB T6H 5G8.
