Pauline Elisabeth (Hiltz) Fougere, 92 of Halifax passed away January 2, 2017 in her home. Pauline was born in Kentville to Walter Gurney Hiltz and Margaret Marie Gould on July 31, 1924.
She worked as a Switchboard Operator at Saint Mary’s University for over 35 years.
Pauline is survived by her daughter Donna Marie (Paul) Gaudet of Halifax; son Michael Thomas (Heather) Fougere of Dartmouth; daughter Sharrie Anne (John) Fougere of Halifax; grandchildren Chistopher; Lisa; Patrick; Dana and Angelino; great grandchildren Jazmyn; Soe; Luca and Jossie.
She was predeceased by her husband Clarence Gerard Fougere, infant son Clarence W. and her parents.
The family wishes to extend their gratitude to everyone who has assisted in Pauline’s care.
Arrangements have been entrusted to Serenity Lindsay Annapolis Valley Funeral Home & Chapels, 34 Coldbrook Village Park Dr (902-679-2822). A Funeral Mass will be held on January 5, 2017 at 10:00 am in the St. Agnes Catholic Church with Father Paul Morris officiating. Reception to follow in the Church Hall. Burial will take place in Gate of Heaven Cemetery, Lower Sackville following the reception. Family Flowers only. Memorial donations may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society.
