Passed peacefully away at home surrounded by his loving family on Saturday, November 11, 2017 after a courageous battle with cancer. Patrick MacDonald, age 63 years. Predeceased by his parents Myrtle and Cornelius; brothers Roland and Tony; sisters Mary and Marjorie. Leaving to mourn his wife Geraldine (nee Pearson); his loving children Matthew (Mondella), Joseph (Nancy) and Jessica; his pride and joy his grandchildren Eden, Allison and Luke; sisters Frances Kealey (John), Ann McDonald (Melvin, deceased), Thomasina Lily, Bernadette Pack (Boyd), Jacqueline MacDonald (Dave) and Yvonne Crawford (Gary); brothers Cletus MacDonald (Tracy), Albert MacDonald (Patsy) and Cosmos MacDonald (Karen); sisters-in-law Mary Diebes and Carmel MacDonald; brother-in-law Mike Vickers and all his nephews and nieces. Special thanks to the medical staff at the Dr. H. Bliss Murphy Cancer Centre and to the Community Health who treated Pat with love, understanding and unwavering support. Cremation has taken place. Resting at Caul’s Funeral Home, 84 LeMarchant Road. Visitation on Tuesday from 11 a.m. – 9 p.m. Funeral service will take place on Wednesday, November 15, 2017 at 1 p.m. from Caul’s Chapel. Inurnment to follow at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery, Topsail Road. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Dr. H. Bliss Murphy Cancer Care Foundation.
