HORNE, Patrick Daniel “Pat” (August 19th, 1944 – April 29th, 2017) – Formerly of Little Dover, N.S passed peacefully away at the Health Science Center ICU with his devoted wife of 42 years Suzanne by his side. Leaving to mourn their three children, who inspired him daily Christine, David and Daniel, many members of the Horne family including brother Ambrose and sister Cynthia in Antigonish, N.S, Pat’s two sons Todd and Donald. Predeceased by his parents John and Annie (nee Sampson) Horne; sisters: Jessie, Cleophas, Rose and Lucy; brothers: Isaac, Robert, Walter and Louis. Special thank you to Dr. Noel Browne, Dr. Keegan Au, and all of Pat’s specialists over the past several years, who helped guide us along the way. Also a heartfelt thank you to all our friends and family for their continuous support. Resting at Barrett’s Funeral Home 328 Hamilton Avenue on Monday, May 1st from 7pm-9pm and Tuesday, May 2nd from 2pm-4pm and 7pm-9pm. Funeral service will be held from St. James United Church on Wednesday, May 3rd at 11:00am. Private family inurnment will take place at a later date. Flowers gratefully accepted or donations in Pat’s memory may be made to the Newfoundland and Labrador Down Syndrome Society.
