Patrick James Stokes (Manning) - December 10

Patrick James Stokes (Manning) – December 10, 1966 – July 19, 2017

Stokes, Patrick James
1966 – 2017
It is with great sadness that the family of Patrick Stokes announce his sudden passing on July 19, 2017 at the age of 50.
He was the beloved husband of Louise Stokes (nee St.Godard). He was the much loved son of Myrna Stokes, his brother Robert Stokes and his sister Kathleen Stokes and her husband Brian MacLean. He is predeceased by his father, Robert Stokes.
He was our rock, we all counted on him and the family is broken hearted to lose him… so soon and so senselessly.
Pat was a good man in every sense of the word. He put duty to family and job above all. He was a dedicated principle of Rosary School in Manning Alberta. He coached many sports over the years and beamed with pride over the achievement of his players and students.
He loved to teach and he loved his students. He loved golf, snowmobiling, tennis and anything that would take him outdoors. His passion was photography. He was the friend who always helped you move, the friend who helped you shingle your house. He never let anyone down.
He died with his wife, the love of his life, taking pictures of a sunset.
Join us to celebrate Pat’s life on Tuesday, July 25, 2017 at Snodgrass Funeral Chapel, 301 MacLeod Trail, High River AB at 10:00 am followed by a reception .
In lieu of flowers, please send donations to the Pat Stokes Bursary Fund, c/o the Sudbury Community Foundation, 58 Lisgar St, Sudbury ON P3E 3L7, set up to assist children in the care of the Children’s Aid Society to attend post-secondary education.
