It is with a heavy heart that we announce
the passing of Patricia Caissie Meahan, of Petit-Rocher, NB.
Patricia passed away on Friday September 29, 2017, at the Chaleur
Regional Hospital, Bathurst, NB.
Born in Montreal, she was the daughter of
the late Harvey and Beatrice (Pellerin) Caissie.
She is survived by her children:
Christine Melville (Clarke) of Oakville, ON, Kevin Meahan of Bathurst
and John Meahan of Halifax, NS and her four dearly loved grandchildren
Duncan, Patrick, Madeleine and Cassidy.
She also leaves behind sisters and a
brother, Sandra Godin (Jean-Guy)of Petit-Rocher, Carole Caissie of
Petit-Rocher, Kim Bourque(Jeff)of Moncton and Robert Caissie of
Kentville, NS, as well as several nieces and nephews – all
of whom she loved dearly.
She was pre-deceased by her beloved
sister, Diane. She will be greatly
missed.
Patricia led a creative, spiritual life.
She dedicated much of her life to healing others – first as a
Registered Nurse for many years and later as a Massage Therapist
& proprietor of “Humanistic Healing By Patricia” in
Bathurst, NB. She also was very proud to be a former Leader and
District Commissioner with the Girl Guides of Canada, a yoga
instructor and a former president of the New Brunswick Massotherapy
Association.
The family will receive relatives and
friends on Tuesday evening from 6 to 8 p.m. at Elhatton’s
Funeral Home (www.elhatton.com), Bathurst. A celebration of
her life will be held on Wednesday morning, October 4, 2017, at 11
a.m. from Elhatton`s Funeral Home Chapel. Donations in
memory of Patricia may be made to the Cancer Society or the Chaleur
Regional Hospital
Foundation.
