McCutchan, Norma
Norma Ruth McCutchan (Woolman) died peacefully in her sleep, during the morning of April 18, 2017 at Youville Home in St. Albert.
She was predeceased by her parents Elmer and Anna Woolman, 5 siblings as well as her husband James McCutchan. Norma will be fondly remembered by her son; David and daughters; Karen Ebert (Rainar) and Laura Muller (Larry) as well as her 4 grandchildren; William Ebert, Jennifer Muller, Krista Ebert and James Muller.
Norma loved animals, bowling, sewing, knitting, crocheting and doing crafts in her younger years. She spent summers on many road trips with her husband and children through BC and driving across Canada to Kenora, Ontario, and all the way to Disneyland. The family had many interesting adventures! She also went to the Bahamas with her husband and good friends Ken and Lorraine Taylor. She enjoyed trips to Hawaii with her husband and daughters. A very special memory, was going to see her brother Eric in England and going on a 3 week tour of the British Isles with her daughters. After her husband passed away, Norma was also able to explore many other parts of the world, such as Bali, Australia, Italy, and Singapore to name a few.
Together with her family she was able to help create wonderful memories that her children hold dearly. She was very excited when her grandchildren came along. Mom, Grandma, you will always be in our hearts!
A funeral service will be held on Saturday, April 22, 2017 at 10:00 a.m. at Westlawn Funeral Home, 16310 Stony Plain Road, Edmonton. Please wait to join us for a small luncheon after the private family interment at Beechmount Cemetery. We look forward to visiting then.
