Myles was born on a farm near Mullingar, SK and moved to Vernon in the summer of 1958 where he worked construction and on a dairy farm. In 1962 he married Judy Koebernick and moved to Lumby in 1967 where they built their home and raised their two children. Myles then began a lifelong career as a logger, eventually working for Weyerhaeuser until its closure in 1999. Myles is survived by his loving wife Judy to whom he was married for 55 years, their children Murray (Tanis), Evelyn (Kevin) and their five grandchildren Dayton, Clayton, Alia, Thea and Quinn. Myles will also be fondly remembered by his brother Doug (Kathy) of Princeton as well as many nieces and nephews. There will be a Celebration of Life held at a later date.
