Murray King, of Ayton, passed away at Residential Hospice of Grey Bruce, Owen Sound surrounded by his family on Monday, November 28, 2016. He was 78.
Born on November 02, 1938 in Massey Ontario to the late Roy and Loretta (McParland) King.
Survived by children Randy (Carol) King of Neustadt, Richard King and Robert King both of Mildmay, Cheryl (Brad) Cline of Walkerton, Shawn (Cheryl) King of Hanover and Murray “James” King of Toronto, grandchildren Cory, Holly, Amanda, Nicole, Heather, Dustin, Ashley, Whitney and Sydney, great grandpa to Anthony, Chloe, James, Derek, Sasha, Leeloo and Sebastian. Special friend Carolyn Hammel of Wiarton. He will be remembered by his brothers Ken (Lise) King and sisters Doreen (Joe) Laderoute, Sharon (Randy) Logan and Colleen (Martin) James. Predeceased by his wife Judith (nee Neumann) King, brother Orlie King and sister Marilyn O’Connor.
At Murray’s request cremation has taken place and a Celebration of Life Come and Go to honour his memory will be held on Saturday, December 10, 2016 from 1-4 pm at Murray’s residence. This will be a time to express condolences and share memories together with family and friends.
Arrangements entrusted to the Mighton Funeral Home, Hanover. Memorial donations to the Canadian Cancer Society were appreciated as expressions of sympathy.
