Obituary for Mr. Florent Trottier
FLORENT TROTTIER
1926-2015
It is with mixed emotions that the family of Mr. Florent Joseph Trottier, age 89 years, announces his passing, after a long and diligent search. Flo went missing on May 11, 2015 and was discovered on May 14, 2017 at the place he loved the most, Eva Lake.
Florent was born on April 29, 1926 and worked in the Forestry industry, until retirement in 1991. He was an avid blueberry picker, fisherman and hunter. Flo truly felt at peace in the bush.
Florent leaves behind family who are now able to find closure.
We wish to thank every one who participated in searching for our father, grandfather
and great-grandfather.
A private family graveside service will be held at Little Falls Cemetery in Atikokan, where Flo will be laid to rest with his beloved wife, Martha. Should friends so desire, in lieu of flowers, donations made in memory of Flo to the Alzheimer Society or the Thunder Bay and District Humane Society would be greatly appreciated.
Arrangements have been entrusted to the Westfort Chapel, 420 West Gore Street at James.
