1924-2017
With her family by her side, Mildred Tomlinson passed away peacefully
at Hotel Dieu St. Joseph Hospital on February 11, 2017.
Mildred was born in Gladwyn, NB on June 13, 1924. She was the daughter
of the late Phillip and Helen (Finnmaore) Sullivan. Mildred leaves
behind her daughter Marilyn Hurlburt (Charles) of Arthurette; her sons
Owen Tomlinson (Marjorie) of Red Rapids, Leo Tomlinson (Marilyn) of
Tilley, Maynard Tomlinson (Leitha) of Arthurette, Robert Tomlinson
(Dalice) of Arthurette, Tom Tomlinson of Hamilton, ON, Mark Tomlinson
of Arthurette; 26 grandchildren, 51 great grandchildren and one great
great grandson; her sisters Martina Clifford of Connecticut, Myrtle
Fitzherbert (Bud) of Red Rapids, Frances Scott of Connecticut; her
brother James Sullivan (Elsie) of Montreal, QC; half-sisters Linda
Reid of Portage la Prairie, MB, Dorothy Everett (Tom) of Riley Brook;
her daughter-in-law Mary Jane Tomlinson of Bristol; her son-in-law
David Jewett of Fredericton.
Mildred was predeceased by her parents; her husband Raymond Tomlinson;
her daughter Donna Jewett; her sons Douglas and Roger Tomlinson; her
great granddaughter Aliana Marie Smith; her sister Gertrude Smith;
brothers Garfield, Vincent, Tom, and Lenny Sullivan; her half-sister
Shirley Hanson; and her half-brother Leonard Sullivan.
Resting at Brunswick Funeral Home with visitation on Monday 2-4 and
7-9 pm. Funeral service will be held on Tuesday, February 14, 2017 at
1 pm from Brunswick Funeral Home. Interment will be in the Arthurette
Free Will Baptist Cemetery at a later date.
For those who wish, memorial donations to the Canadian Cancer Society
would be appreciated by the family.
Arrangements have been entrusted to Brunswick Funeral Home,
Perth-Andover.
