Mildred Lewis
1928-2017
Mildred Mae Lewis, 88, of Colpitts Settlement
passed away peacefully with her husband and family at her side
Tuesday, March 7, 2017 at the Moncton Hospital.
Born in L’etete, NB, she was the daughter of the
late James and Helen (McLeese) McNichol. Mildred was
Pentecostal by faith, and she loved cooking and caring for her
family.
She is survived and sadly missed by her beloved
husband of 60 years Percy; children William (Gisele), Moncton and
Stacey Boudreau (Michel), Dieppe; sisters Bernadine Lewis, L’etete,
Gladys Dobb, Mississauga and Muriel MacDonald, St. George;
granddaughters Amanda, Shianne, Courtney and Melissa; nine great
grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. Predeceased by
brothers Albion and Alexander; sister Meretta Cooke and infant sisters
Sadie and Florence.
Resting at Salisbury Funeral Home, 3350 Route 106
(372-4800) visiting will be Friday, March 10 from 6 to 8 pm and from
where the funeral will be held in the chapel Saturday, March 11 at 11
am with Pastor Donald Crossman officiating. Interment at
Middlesex Cemetery at a later date.
If desired, memorials to the Heart &
Stroke Foundation or the Kidney Foundation would be appreciated by the
family.
