Mildred Amlin – 2016

AMLIN, Mildred (nee Jones)
July 4, 1918 – December 27, 2016
Passed away peacefully in her 99th year after a brief stay at Franklin Gardens Long Term Care in Leamington. She is now reunited with her beloved husband and best friend (Alonzo Leo “Lonnie” deceased 1996). Loving mother of Sheila Burns and Marvin Amlin. Dearest grandmother to six grandchildren (Michael, Joshua, Christina, Lee, Lesley and Melissa), eleven great-grandchildren and three great-great grandchildren. She is survived by her brother Henry (and sister-in-law Eleanor) and predeceased by her brothers Murray, Floyd, Harvey, Donald, Ralph Jones and sister Cora Goodchild. She is greatly remembered by many nieces and nephews.
Special thanks to the staff at Seasons in Amherstburg for many years of compassionate care.
Visitation will take place at JAMES H. SUTTON FUNERAL HOME, 401 Sandwich St. S., Amherstburg (519-736-2134) on Tuesday, Jan. 3, 2017 from 10 a.m. until the time of Funeral Service at 11 a.m. Interment to follow at St. John the Baptist Cemetery.
