Lovingly Remembered
After a long struggle with cancer Michael David Orr (Mike, Geronimo) of Sherwood Park, Alberta went to be with his Creator on December 23rd . He passed peacefully at home surrounded and cared for by loved ones.
Mike was born in 1966 in Fort McKay, Alberta to Frances and Mary Jane (Ahyasou) Orr. He was predeceased by his parents, grandparents, Gabriel and Eulelie Orr and Joseph and Margaret Ahyasou; his siblings, Cecilia, Donald, Lillian, Lorena, Hilda, Lena and Linda, and his nephew, Gabriel Delisle. Mike leaves his wife Marlene (Benson) and daughter, Paris of Sherwood Park; son Evan (Misty Bruno); daughters Brittany (Jay MacNeil), Chelsea (Jason Seenum), and Alicia (Randy Waniandy) of Edmonton, Alberta; his grandchildren, Lucas and Elijah; loving sister Madeleine (Delisle) of Fort Mckay, Alberta; uncle Walter Orr of Fort McKay, Alberta; nieces Katrina, Kandis and Natalie of Fort McKay, Alberta; and many other relatives.
A wake will be held on Thursday, December 28 beginning at 4:00 p.m. at Our Lady of Mercy Catholic Church, Enoch, Alberta. Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Friday, December 29 at 11:00 a.m. at Our Lady of Mercy Catholic Church, Enoch. Interment will follow at Glenwood Memorial Gardens, Sherwood Park.
