McLaughlin Lloyd – June 4, 1930 to August 23, 2017

McLaughlin, Lloyd – formerly of Listowel, passed away peacefully at Huronlea Home for the Aged, Brussels on Wednesday August 23, 2017 at the age of 87. Lloyd enjoyed spending time with his family at the cottage and fixing old cars.
Beloved husband of Marg (Bell) McLaughlin with whom he celebrated 65 years of marriage on August 9th. Loving father of Ron and Lois and Randy and Wendy. Special grandpa of Trisha and Clint, Curtis and Sandi, Ryan, Becky, and Drew. Poppa of Reed, Jesa, Jaxon, Camdyn, Destiny, Madison, Parker and Violet. Brother of Harold McLaughlin. Fondly remembered by many nieces and nephews.
Predeceased by his parents Clarence and Edith (Moore) McLaughlin, granddaughter Rhonda Lee in infancy, sister Elva Michel, brother-in-law Clair Michel and sister-in-law Jean McLaughlin.
Relatives and friends are invited to share their memories at the Brenneman Funeral Home, 141 John Street, Atwood (519-356-2382), on Friday August 25 from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. The funeral service to celebrate Lloyd’s life will be held at Calvary United Church, Listowel on Saturday August 26, 2017 at 11:00 a.m. with visitation from 10:00 to 10:45. Rev. Ralph Dwarika officiating. Cremation to follow with interment in Fairview Cemetery, Listowel at a later date.
