Mary Ruth Jarman September 3, 1931 – January 6, 2017

Jarman, Mary, nee Eplett, passed away peacefully, with her daughters by her side, at the Georgian Bay General Hospital in Midland on January 6, 2017 in her 86th year. Beloved wife of the late William “Bill” Jarman. Cherished mother of Kim (James Taylor) and Michelle (John Ellis). Loving grandmother of Casey Taylor (Gilles Charlebois), Orisa Taylor (Michael Lacroix), Lexin Taylor, Quinn Taylor, Jordan Copeland, Brandon Copeland and Jayden Ellis. Proud great-grandmother of Sabin Charlebois. Dear sister of Catherine Russell (late Harold), Paul Eplett (Kay), Jim Eplett (Gina), Albert Eplett (Barb), Dorothy Eplett (Al) and the late Donald Eplett (survived by Barb). Sister in-law of Jacqui Rabjohn (late Roy) and the late Carter Jarman (late June). Mary will be fondly remembered by her nephews, nieces, extended family and friends. She will be missed by her friends and the staff at Bayfield House Retirement Lodge and also by the members of Unity United Church.
The daughters wish to thank nieces Charlotte Russell and Kim Howe; sisters Catherine and Dorothy, and Al Black for their love, support and compassion. Special thanks also to the wonderful nurses at 2 North, GBGH: “you know who you are”, Deb Sloan (Simcoe County Palliative Care Coordinator) and Sarah Cairns (Patient Flow Navigator, GBGH).
Cremation has taken place. Memorial visitation will be held at Nicholls Funeral Home from 3 – 5 and 7 – 9 p.m. on Tuesday, January 10th. Celebration of Life in Victoria Harbour on Wednesday, January 11th. (***DETAILS ARE UNCONFIRMED, PLEASE KEEP CHECKING THIS SITE.***)
If desired, memorial donations to Unity United Church or the Wye Marsh would be appreciated, and may be made at Nicholls Funeral Home.
