FISHER, Mary Margaret (nee Margonari)
August 29, 1930 ~ December 15, 2016
It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Mary Fisher (nee Margonari), at the age of 86 after a short illness on December 15, 2016.
She is survived by her loving husband of 65 years, Arthur Fisher, son Gary Fisher and his wife, Jean Wilson, granddaughter, Melanie Corrigall (Keiran), grandson David Fisher, great-grandchildren, Aria and Ember Corrigall, dear nieces Michele and Trinity Margo, brother in-law, Ken Fisher of Rodney, ON and numerous nieces and nephews in Ontario and Italy.
She was predeceased by her parents, Pietro and Valeria Margonari and her dear brother Primo Margo.
Mary was born in Coalhurst, AB on August 29, 1930. Mary had a successful career as a stenographer in both Calgary and Lethbridge, retiring at age 55. Mary loved travelling, going on day trips with several seniors clubs, reading, camping and especially photographing beautiful flowers.

Those wishing to pay their respects may do so at Mountain View Funeral Home (1605 100 Street SE, Calgary, AB) on Monday, December 19, 2016 at 7:00 p.m. – 9:00 p.m. A Funeral Service will be held in the Chapel of Mountain View Funeral Home on Tuesday, December 20, 2016 at 2:00 p.m.
