Mary Elizabeth McNeill
1938-2017
At the Wedgewood Manor, Summerside, on Wednesday, February 1,
2017, of Mary Elizabeth McNeill, beloved wife of the late Roy McNeill,
age 78 years. Born at Lauretta, P.E.I., on April 27, 1938, she was the
daughter of the late Benedict and Gertrude (nee MacNeill)
Kinch. She is survived by her partner, Sylvere
Gallant, of Summerside.
Dear mother to Rose McNeill, of Summerside, George (Diane)
McNeill, of Norboro, Susan (Danny) Carruthers, of Kitchener,
Ont. Cherished grandmother to Kevin, Jeffery, Melissa,
Matthew, Gregory, Candance, Ricky and Joey. Great-grandmother to
Codilynn, Alexis, Brayden, Hailey, Jayden, Analynn and
Tyson.
Dear sister to Jenny O’Halloran of O’Leary, and sister-in-law
to: Doris (late Wilbert) Gray, Mabel (late Jacques) Dumas,
Clare (Lorna) McNeill and Theresa (late Ralph) McNeill.
She was predeceased by siblings, Lawrence, Etta, George, Ben,
Irving, Lucy, Everett and Wilbert, and by a sister’s-in-law, Eileen
Luttrell,Molley Arsenault.
Resting at the Rooney Funeral Home, Alberton. Visiting hours
Friday 6 to 9 p.m. Funeral Saturday morning from the Sacred Heart
Church, Alberton, for funeral mass at 10:30 a.m., Rev. Andrew
MacDonald, Celebrant. Interment later in the Church
Cemetery.
