Google Maps with several nieces and nephews. Predeceased by her parents, Frank and Mabel Caverly, and by her brother, Ron Caverly.
Mary and Len led a life rich in experience and friendship. They lived in many places, were well travelled, and made wonderful, life lasting connections. In their retired years, they spent every winter in Florida, enjoying cruises, happy hour, card games, and a social life filled with great friends.
To all that knew Mary, she was a kind, generous, and considerate friend. She showed great interest in people, was a good listener, was thoughtful, and humble. She was well read, open minded, and curious. She passionately loved her card games, never missing an opportunity to play bridge or poker.
Special thanks to all the compassionate medical professionals and caregivers who provided her with a quality end-of-life journey: Dr. Charles Van Baardwijk, Drs. Slaven and Shaw and their Pain and Symptom Management Team at the Juravinski Cancer Centre, Jane Langlotz and her Palliative Care Team at the LHIN, the caring PSW’s from Home Instead, and the wonderful staff at the Emmanuel House Hospice. You all provided her comfort to the end. Cremation has taken place. Family will receive friends at KITCHING, STEEPE & LUDWIG FUNERAL HOME, 146 Mill St. N., Waterdown on Monday, November 20, 2017 from 11 a.m., until the time of Memorial Service at 12 noon. Reception to follow. In lieu of flowers, the family would appreciate a donation to the charity of your choice.

Our most sincere sympathies to the family and friends of Mary Eileen Pothier – March 22- 1933 – November 13- 2017.source
