Mary Huston
With great sadness we announce the sudden passing of Mary Charlene Huston. On Friday, November 10, 2017, at her home, Mary passed away at the age of 57 years.
Left to mourn is her beloved husband Christopher Huston of Portage La Prairie; mother Susan Tupper and father Donald Tupper of Centennial, Wyoming; cousin Charles Edward Oliver of Colorado; mother-in-law Shirley Huston of Tofield, Alberta and father-in-law George Huston of Winnipeg, Manitoba.
Mary was born in Laramie, Wyoming. A clarinet player in high school, Mary spent most of her life in the Wyoming and Colorado area. She excelled in math and science and in university studied Astrophysics and Computer Science.
Mary loved her two cats, Huxley and Lydia, and spent much of her day cross-stitching, cooking and baking. She enjoyed playing board games and video games, especially Animal Crossing and Skyrim. She also had a tremendous love and understanding of classical music.
Sometimes Mary could be stubborn but she was always caring, kind and had a wry sense of humour.
A gathering to celebrate Mary’s life will be held at a later date.
