Obituary for Mary Catharine McLean
Passed away peacefully on Tuesday, May 2, 2017 at Bluewater Health, Sarnia. MARY McLEAN (nee Ward) of Oil Springs was in her 93rd year. She was a loving mother the late Bob (2006) and his wife Dianne McLean, Wesley and Debbie McLean, Ron and Marlene McLean, Sharon and Larry Watson, and Jim and Colleen McLean. She will be missed by her grandchildren Dan and Cari, Paula and Chris, Martin, Tina and Greg, Gary and Jane, and Andrew and by her seven great grandchildren. She is also survived one brother Allan and his wife Joan Ward. Mary was predeceased by her parents Robert and Pansy Ward, and two brothers James and his wife Donna Ward and Wilfred Ward. Mary was an active member of the Oil Springs United Church, the Lady Martha Rebekah Lodge #245, and the Royal Canadian Legion Br. 216 Ladies Auxiliary. Visitors will be received on Friday from 6 to 8 pm at the Needham-Jay Funeral Home, Petrolia where a memorial service will be held on Saturday, May 6, 2017 at 1:00 p.m. Interment to follow in Oil Springs Cemetery. Lady Martha Rebekah Lodge #245 will be conduct a memorial service on Friday at 5:45p.m. As expressions of sympathy, memorial donations may be made to the C.E.E.
