Marjorie Jensen
1941-2017
At her residence, May 16, 2017, Mrs. Marjorie Jensen of New
Denmark passed away peacefully surrounded by her loving
family. She was the wife of John C. Jensen. Born
at Swan River, Manitoba in 1941, she was a daughter of Jenny Elizabeth
(Pedersen) and the late Peter John Brolund.
She is survived by her husband of 58 years, John, three
children, Charlene Jensen of Fredericton, David (Cathy) of Fredericton
and Carole Jensen (Brenda Knight) of Moncton, three grandchildren,
Matthew, Peter and Lucas, great grandchild, Landon, her mother, Jenny
Brolund of Victoria Glen Manor, Perth-Andover, sisters, Marilyn
Dotchin of Oshawa, Ontario, Marlene Leslie of Woodstock, Ontario and
brother Terry Brolund of New Denmark, as well as nieces and
nephews.
Resting at Bethany Lutheran Church, New Denmark with visiting
hours on Thursday, May 18th from 7 to 9 p.m. and Friday, May 19th from
10 to 11 a.m.
Her funeral service will be held from the Bethany Lutheran
Church on Friday, May 19th at 11 a.m. with Pastor Ralph Weigold
officiating. Interment will follow in the Our Saviour
Cemetery of New Denmark.
