Obituary of Marion Slik
Marion Slik went home to be with the Lord on Friday, December 16, 2016 at Holland Christian Home (Grace Manor) in Brampton at the age of 92 years, formerly of Kitchener.
Predeceased by loving husband, the late John Slik of 51 years marriage.
Dear mother of Marjo Merkus (Ben) of Kitchener, Peter, Nicholas and Emil Slik all of Calgary.
Survived by six grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren. Remembered by one sister Nicky Jeeninga of Renfrew and sister-in-law Rika VanDonk. Predeceased by her parents, two brothers and two sisters of Holland and a great-granddaughter.
Friends are invited to share their memories of Marion with her family during visitation at the Erb & Good Family Funeral Home, 171 King St. S., Waterloo on Tuesday, December 20, 2016 from 7 p.m. – 8 – p.m. and on Wednesday, December 21, 2016 from 10 a.m. – 10:45 a.m. with a funeral service at 11:00 a.m. in the funeral home chapel. Reception to follow in the Fireside Reception Room. Interment at Woodland Cemetery, Kitchener.
