Marentette, Marion….
Peacefully, with her family by her side, Marion Grace Marentette passed away on Wednesday, December 27, 2017 at University Hospital, London in her 79th year. Beloved wife of Paul Marentette for 57 years. Loving mom of Janice Bishop and her husband Bert, and Debbie Barnett and her husband John. Special grandma of Amanda Bishop and her fiancé Mike De La Durantaye, Jordan Bishop, Catherine Barnett and Jennifer Barnett, and great-grandma to Christopher and Lucas. Marion will be greatly missed by her many nieces, nephews and extended family. Predeceased by her three brothers; Jim, Jack and Dan. Special thank you to the dialysis nurses for the care and compassion they provided to Marion. Friends will be received by the family from 9:30-10:30 am on Saturday, December 30, 2017 at the A. Millard George Funeral Home, 60 Ridout Street South, London. The funeral service will be held in the funeral home chapel at 10:30 am. Interment to follow in Mount Pleasant Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations in Marion’s memory may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society, 123 St. George Street, London, ON N6A 3A1 or the Kidney Foundation of Canada, Southwestern Ontario Chapter, 203-785 Wonderland Road South, London, ON N6K 3C2.
