Marion Eleanor Ross (nee Jarvis) August 3, 1929 to May 6, 2017.
Marion lived a full life enjoying the gardens and natural beauty of the environment with her family and friends. Marion could always be found (or preferably not found) touring through the country in her famous camper van. She could tell a story that would turn you red in the face and leave you speechless or make your sides hurt from laughing.
Her honesty and humor will be missed by her daughters Cindi (Dave) Loree and Maureen… (Shane) Hansen. Grandchildren Brady & Jesse Loree, Liard & Morgan Hansen and great granddaughter Kiarah Loree.
Predeceased by her parents Charles (Spud) & Margaret Jarvis and brother Bill (Toadstool) Jarvis, and is remembered by her son Royle Ross and nephew /niece Trevor Jarvis and Haley Jarvis.
Marion served as a Corporal in the Army Corps from February 1945 to demobilization in July of 1946, the skills obtained commenced her career as a stenographer in the oil and gas industry.
Marion worked in High River as a bookkeeper for Tom Ogden, Norman Caukhill,
Coakwell, Moore & Co and the High River Golf and Country Club.
No service is to be held.
A limb has fallen from the family tree.
I keep hearing a voice that says, “Grieve not for me.
Remember the best times, the laughter, the song.
The good life I lived while I was strong.
Continue my heritage, I’m counting on you.
Keep smiling and surely the sun will shine through.
My mind is at ease, my soul is at rest.
Remembering all, how I truly was blessed.
Continue traditions, no matter how small.
Go on with your life, don’t worry about falls
I miss you all dearly, so keep up your chin.
Until the day comes we’re together again.
