Obituary of Marilyn Mayne
Marilyn Mayne (formerly Marilyn Lotz) of Waterloo passed away peacefully at the Freeport Campus of Grand River Hospital on Friday, January 20, 2017 in her 78th year.
Beloved wife of James Mayne. Loving mother of John (Yvonne) Lotz of Goderich and Linda Lotz of Waterloo. Loving grandmother to Stephanie (Matt) Gray of Strathroy and Daryl (Stacey) Lotz of Listowel. Proud great-grandmother of Parker and Alexandria. Sister to Arlene (Orv) Buckton of Owen Sound, Joan (Laurie) Sauer of Brampton, Patricia Holmes of Owen Sound, Sharon Beattie of Owen Sound, Geraldine Clayton of Shallow Lake, Pauline (Bill) of St. Catharines, Dale (Loretta) of Toronto, Brian (Donna) of Owen Sound, and Mike (Linda) of Cargill. Sister-in-law to Gladys Challis of Meaford, Sandy (Laura) Mayne of Kitchener, and Barb (Hecktor) Gaudrault of Truro, NS.
Predeceased by her parents Lucy and Wilfred Uhrig; her beloved first husband Walter Lotz; son-in-law Ric Schell; brothers Ray, Jack, Donald, Robert, and Larry; sisters Claire and Dianne; brothers-in-law John, Lloyd, Bill, Herb, Clayton, Duncan and sisters-in-law Francis, Margaret, Olivia, Shirley and Kate.
Relatives and friends are invited to share memories of Marilyn during visitation at the Erb & Good Family Funeral Home, 171 King St. S., Waterloo on Sunday, January 22, 2017 from 2-5 p.m. Visitation will continue at St. John’s Lutheran Church, 22 Willow St., Waterloo on Monday, January 23, 2017 from 2-2:45 p.m., followed by the funeral service at 3 p.m. with Rev. Fred Ludolph officiating. A reception will immediately follow the service in the church hall. Spring interment at St. Mark’s Lutheran Cemetery, Wellesley.
