It is with great sadness that the family of the
late Marie Rose Lowe (nee Plowman) announce her passing at Corner
Brook Long Term Care Centre on Wednesday, February
15th, 2017 at the age of 77 years. Leaving to
mourn with fond and loving memories are husband, Martin of 54 years,
son Gerard (Vicki), daughter Donna (Mervin) Woodford; grandchildren
Melissa, Jeffrey, Ashley, David and Nicholas; step-grandchildren:
Dawn, Dion, Matthew and Brent; great grandchildren: Sarah, Owen,
William, Ethan, Tyler and Annabella; sisters: Noreen (John) Lowe, Alma
Plowman and Hilda (Joe) Lavers; brothers Clyde and Ebby Plowman;
special family friend, Jennifer Andrews Lowe; as well as many nieces,
nephews, other relatives and friends. She was predeceased by her
parents Henry and Lucy Plowman, step-father Michael Eastman; sisters
Olive Preyshon, Olga Plowman and Dolly Gould; brothers Edgar, Henry
and Jimmy Jr. Plowman. Granting Marie’s wishes, cremation
has taken place. Friends may visit Fillatre’s Funeral Home,
10 Clinic Drive, Deer Lake on Friday from 7-9:00 p.m. and continuing
from Fillatre’s Funeral Home, Port Au Choix on Saturday from
2-4 and 7-9:00 p.m. Abiding by her wishes, there will be no formal
Funeral Service. As expressions of sympathy, in lieu of flowers,
donations may be made to Western Memorial Regional Hospital
