Marie Biggar – 1950-2017

We, the family of Janis Marie Biggar, regret to announce her
passing on Monday, May 1, 2017, at the Cape Breton Regional Hospital,
Sydney.
Born May 29, 1950, in St. Stephen, N. B., she was the
daughter of the late F. Paul and Betty (Garrison)
DeLong.
Marie is survived and lovingly remembered by her husband,
Robert “Bob”; son, Andrew, Clinton, Ont.; sisters, Anna
(Gil) DeLong, Palmyra, Virginia and Joyce (Garth) Orchard, St.
Stephen, N. B.; brothers, Monty (Mary), Sackville, N. B. and Chris
(Grace), Oakville, Man., along with several nieces and nephews. She is
also mourned by her mother-in-law, Bette Biggar and numerous
friends.
Her memorial service will take place at St. Luke’s United
Church, Donkin on Friday, September 22, 2 p.m., with Rev. Dana
Feltmate and Rev. David MacLean officiating. The interment of her
remains will then take place at Black Brook Cemetery, Port Morien,
with a reception to follow at St. John’s United Church in Port
Morien.
