Cairo, Maria Rosaria (Marisa)
Passed away peacefully on Friday December 29, 2017 after a lengthy battle with cancer at the age of 67. Loving wife of the late Aldo (married for 41 wonderful years). Proud mother of Alessia (Michael Romanin) and Jessica (Christopher McShane). Cherished Nonna of Abigail, Charlotte and Milania. Sadly missed by her dear brother Vito (Cristina) and their children Robert and Sofia. Marisa will be greatly missed by her many family and friends here in Canada, the United States and Italy. She had a passion for traveling, cooking and spending time with her family. “Forever in our hearts, we love you.”
Family and friends will be received at the Ward Funeral Home, 4671 Hwy 7 (west of Pine Valley Dr.), Woodbridge, on Tuesday from 2-4 and 6-9 p.m. A mass will be held on Wednesday at St. Clare of Assisi Church 150 St. Francis Ave.,Woodbridge at time to be confirmed. Entombment to follow at Westminster Cemetery.
