Obituary for Maria Romankiw
On September 29, 2017, Maria Romankiw of Edmonton passed away at the age of 95 years.
Maria is survived by her beloved cousin, Myron (Gienia) Luszczak from Chicago, IL and their sons, Jerry and Myron, their wives and kids, Patrice, Lana, Al, Sean, Antonina and Michael. Family, Jaroslaw Luschak, his wife, Halyna and their children; goddaughter, Halia Shchoruk; cousin of the late John Luszczak, his wife and family, Roman and Sadie Anisimovicz and Marta (Anisimowicz) Harris; Luybomyr Romankiw from the USA; relatives from Ukraine, Alexandra and Ivan Cybulsky; and adopted children and friends from Edmonton. Predeceased by her husband, John.
Prayers Tuesday, October 3 at 7:00 p.m. at St. George Ukrainian Catholic Church, 11305 – 95A Street.
Divine Liturgy Wednesday, October 4 at 10:00 a.m. at St. George Ukrainian Catholic Church. Reverend Anton Tarasenko officiating with interment in St. Michael’s Cemetery. In lieu of other tributes, donations may be made directly to LITOPYS UPA, P.O. Box 97, Station “C”, Toronto, ON M6J 3M7.
