Obituary for Margaret Wall
Margaret Rosetta Wall (née Tucker) passed away peacefully at Tiverton Park Manor on Monday March 20, 2017 in her ninety first year.
Margaret, the last surviving child of Albert and Rosetta Tucker, was predeceased by siblings Thomas, Harry, and Peter Tucker, Gweneth Buckingham, and Betty Lampman; as well as her daughter Susan Wall.
Left behind to mourn her passing is her son Ian Wall of Kincardine, son-in-law Chris Radley-Walters of Georgetown, seven grandchildren Sarah, Caitlin, Cairis, Phaedre, Lilly, Estelle, and Rowan as well as one great-grandson Huxley. Also missed by many nieces, nephews and cousins.
After graduating from the Stratford School of Nursing in 1948, Margaret set upon the early career as a stewardess for Trans Canada Airlines. Following marriage in 1957, and a brief period living in Montreal, the majority of her nursing career was spent at Peel Memorial Hospital in Brampton. She retired to her home town of Kincardine where she led a very private life. There she devoted her time to her family and pets and always maintained her beliefs of enjoying and maintaining the welfare of nature in our chaotic world.
Always an avid CBC listener, Margaret remained aware and interested in world events to the end. With her ever clear mind, she enjoyed discussing and offering opinion on the world as she saw it. In the interests of leaving a small personal carbon footprint, while advancing science and medicine for future generations, Margaret’s wish was to donate her body to the Schulich School of Medicine at the University of Western Ontario in London, ON.
The family would like to express our most sincere thank you to the staff at Tiverton Park Manor who worked hard at providing excellent comfort and care to Margaret in the past three months as well as Dr Thomson who has provided medical care for Margaret for many years.
At Margaret’s request there will be no public service of remembrance. Arrangements entrusted to the Davey-Linklater Funeral Home, Kincardine.
In lieu of flowers, donations to Margaret’s favourite charity The David Suzuki Foundation or a charity of your choice would be appreciated.

Nos plus sincères sympathies à la famille et aux amis de Margaret Rosetta Wall – 1926 – 2017.source
