Bouffard, Marcel Joseph Fernand – The family announces with sadness the death of Marcel Bouffard at the age of 80 years. Marcel passed away peacefully at Temiskaming Lodge on Tuesday, June 21, 2017.
Born October 16, 1936 at Opasatika to the late Albert Bouffard and the late Gabrielle Dumais. Marcel had lived in the Tri-Town area for many years and had worked in many different fields including farming, forestry, mining and as a cook for the railway. Many will remember Marcel for the 26 years he volunteered at Club Rendez-Vous.
Predeceased by his parents and his sibings: Camille, Lucille, Léo, Lucienne, Rolland Cécile and Aimé. Left to mourn are his siblings: Fernand, Robert, Lucien [and Gaetanne], Jean-Paul [and Nicole], Maurice [and Mariette], Rémi [and Ginette], Gisèle [and Roger] Lécuyer, Rita [feu Aimé] Néron and Jeannine [feu Robert] Lécuyer. Also survived by his sisters-in-law: Aline, Claire and Claudette; and many nieces and nephews.
In keeping with his wishes, cremation has taken place at Lakeview Crematorium. A private graveside service will take place at a later date in Kapuskasing.
