Scott Ross MacDonald of Alma passed away on Monday, December 18 2017 at his home..
Born on March 16 1947, Scott was the first born of Scott F and Rose (Ross) MacDonald.
Scott enjoyed the simple things in life enjoying nature and wildlife often having horses and cattle to call his own.
Scott sponsored the horse pull for many years at the Pictou North Colchester Exhibition.
Scott showed great pride in running is own business Scott MacDonald Woodland Accessories Ltd. known to many as “the shop”. Working on small engines and power saws with a very strong work ethic and knowledge, people often shared that he was the best at what he did. Scott was a very compassionate person to the less fortunate, often taking care of others before himself.
He was very proud of his family although sometimes a man of few words he would always show it through his actions.
Scott is survived by wife Sherri, his son Scott M (Sherry) their children Shayla, Jessica, Scott B. and son Ashley MacDonald all of Alma. Sister Pamela MacDonald of Loch Broom.
Also Aunts, nieces, nephews and many friends.
Scott was predeceased by his parents, brothers Bobby and Clinton.
There will be no visitation or funeral upon request. A private family service will be held at a later date. Donations in Scott’s name can be made to the Canadian Heart and Stroke foundation or a charity of choice. Arrangements are under the direction of Eagles Funeral Home, Westville.
