Peacefully on Friday, April 28, 2017, with his family by his side Lucien Laurin at the age of 93. Beloved cher ami of Nancy Bassam (Acres). Dearest father of Madeleine (Ronald Brisson), Pauline (Vince Deschamps), Donald (Lynda), Suzanne (Gerard McKenna) and Joanne (Louis Brisson). Lucien will be greatly missed by his 10 grandchildren, 13 great-grandchildren and 1 great-great-grandchild.Brother of Maximillian (late Rene Chevalier), Jacqueline (late David Glenn) and Elise (Jean-Paul Grandmaitre). Predeceased by siblings Alex (Marie), Rene (late Anne-Marie), Claude (Constance) and Leonne (late Barry Kemball) and his parents Eugene Laurin and Yvonne Latreille. Family and friends are invited to pay their respects at a Funeral Mass on Wednesday at St. Catherine of Siena Church, 2718 Eighth Line Rd. Metcalfe at 11 am. Inurnment Springhill Cemetery at a later date. In lieu of flowers please consider a donation to the Ottawa Regional Cancer Foundation. The family would like to thank all the staff of Le Pavillon in Embrun for their excellent service, compassion and care of Lucien.
