Peacefully at the Mattawa Hospital, on Wednesday March 15, 2017, at the age of 66 years. For the past 38 years Lorraine has taken care of others as a nurse at Mattawa General Hospital. She was predeceased by her loving husband Peter Pepin. Leaving behind her son Myles and his wife Kelly, and their son Jerry, and her daughter Michelle Pepin, with her partner Jody Evans, she also leaves to mourn her friend Clayton Dobratz, and his daughter Caitlin. Also left are her siblings Fernande ( Conrad), Noela (JenPaul), Suzanne, Guy (Josette), Gilles (Linda).Lorraine was the most caring loving, hard-working, loyal, honest, inspirational person. We are all lucky for having walked through life with her by our sides.”Here’s to us, cause good people are scarce.” Cremation has taken place. Friends are invited to join with her family at the Mattawa Legion on Tuesday March 21 from 11:00 to 2:00pm. Tributes and stories will be shared at 12 noon.
