Obituary for Lorraine Dobbie
Passed away unexpectedly at the Queensway Carleton Hospital, Ottawa on Tuesday, May 30, 2017, in her 86th year. Beloved wife of the late Donald Dobbie. Much loved mother of Ron Dobbie (deceased) Spencerville, Jim Dobbie of Berwick, Dave Dobbie of Spencerville and daughter in law Denise Dobbie of Kemptville. Cherished gramma of Leigh Eldridge (Ryan) of Kemptville, Lisa Dobbie of Bowmanville, Christopher Dobbie of Chesterville, Robert Dobbie of Chesterville, and 4 much loved great-grandchildren, Matthew, Maddie, Emma and Evelyn. Sister in law of Lloyd Cameron of Kemptville, Bert Dobbie (Eunice) of Ventnor, Carol Darling (Robert) of Johnstown and Linda Dobbie of Cornwall. Predeceased by her parents, Erroll (Earl) and Lillian Murdock her husband Donald, son Ron and her beloved granddaughter, Shannon Dobbie. Lorraine was preceded by all her brothers and sisters, Robert, Lorna Marriner – McPhee. Glenna Cameron, Corinne Hughes, Jean Barr, George, Glen and Eugene. Friends are invited to visit the Purcell Chapel of Hulse, Playfair & McGarry, 11 Centre Street, Spencerville on Thursday, June 8, 2017 from 11:00 am to 1:00 p.m. followed by a Memorial Service in the Chapel at 1:00 p.m. Burial will take place at the South Gower Cemetery at 4:00 pm. Donations made to the Heart & Stroke Foundation or C.H.E.O. would be appreciated.
