BROWN, Lisa Beth – Born April 16, 1963, passed away peacefully at her home with her family by her side after a long and valiant battle with cancer. Lisa is survived by her parents Marlene and Morton Brown, her brother Mitchell Brown, and her sister-in-law Amy Newman Brown. She was a proud aunt to Joey, Eli, and Leah Brown with whom she had a full and caring relationship. Lovingly remembered by all of her aunts, uncles and cousins. Cherished by all of her dear friends and anyone who knew her well. Lisa worked as a certified occupational therapist and a member of the Palliative Care Program at Mount Sinai Hospital for many years where she positively impacted the lives of so many people and families in need. She always did so with a gentle and caring touch. We would like to thank the medical and nursing staffs at Mt Sinai Hospital and Princess Margaret Hospital for their outstanding care during Lisa’s illness. We are also indebted to the Palliative Care services in the hospital as well as the community, under the guidance of Dr. Paolo Mazzotta, for their kind and compassionate care. At Beth Sholom Synagogue, 1445 Eglinton Avenue west for service on Tuesday, December 12, 2017 at 11:00 a.m. Interment in the Beth Sholom Synagogue section of Mount Sinai Cemetery. Memorial donations may be made to the discretionary fund of Rabbi Aaron Flanzraich at Beth Sholom Synagogue, 416- 783-6103.
