Obituary for Lionel Malherbe
In loving memory of
Mr. Lionel Malherbe
January 29th, 1926 – November 22nd, 2017
With great sadness his family announces his passing surrounded by his loving family, on Wednesday, November 22nd, 2017 at the Lady Minto Hospital in Cochrane at the age of 90. He was the beloved husband of Margaret Webster, cherished father of Dianne (Denis) Noël of Timmins, Joyce (Phil) Norris of Cochrane, Colleen (Terry) Ash of North Bay, Mike (Carole) Malherbe of Cochrane, Karen (Shane) Demers of Buttler Lake and Treena (Nelson) Ouellet of Cochrane, grandfather of Jennifer (Ryan), Lindsey (Steve), Kristin, Brandon, Melissa (Rodney), Trevor (Christine), Brian (Faye), Ashley (Kelsea), Lauren and Dominick, great-grandfather of Ethan, Avelyn, Kaylee, Katie, Paislee, Jacob, Sarah, Brynlee and Rylee. Lionel leaves remaining siblings Robert (Patsy) Malherbe, Rita Girard (Harvey LangFord) and Norma Linklater, his sisters-in-law Gilbert Malherbe and Elsie Malherbe. Lionel also leaves many nieces, nephews, other parents and friends. He was predeceased by his father Exzerase Malherbe, his mother Diane Gagnon, his sisters Rolande (Gordon) Shier, Rose (Ronnie) Mann, by his brothers Ovila, Alfred and Arthur, his brother-in-law Charlie Linklater.
