Lillian Gable – 2017

Lillian Georgina Gable (nee Barron)
Lillian passed away on January 3, 2016, just weeks after celebrating her 100th birthday. Born and raised in Hamilton, Lillian lived in Burlington from 1945 until 2011 when she moved to Goderich Place Retirement Home. Predeceased by her husband Dellmas Gable in 1963, Lillian is survived by their four children, Mary Jane Gable-Flock (Richard Owen) of Hamilton, Dell Jr. (Regina) of Hamilton, Carolyn Pigott (Dave) of New Hamburg, and Debbie Gable (Garth Rate), of Goderich. Grandma of Reid Flock (Andra) of Hamilton, Colin Flock (Kim) of Toronto, Kerry Pigott of St. Catharines, Jenny Pigott (Sean Winchester) of Shanghai, China, Lauren Rate of Kitchener and Elliott Rate of London. Great Grandma of Keaton Flock, Oliver and Libby Flock, and Veronica Winchester. Predeceased by her sisters Florence (Claude Young), Dorothy Barron and brother Fred Barron (Lucy).
The family wishes to thank the staff of Goderich Place, Care Partners, St. Elizabeth Health Care, SWCCAC, Drs. Stan Spacek and Hilary Watson, and Alexandra Marine and General Hospital for the care provided to Mum over the past 6 years. As Lillian wished, there will not be a funeral or visitation. Arrangements through McCallum and Palla for cremation and interment at Bayview Gardens Mausoleum in Burlington. Loved and remembered forever.
