Obituary for Leoda Fern Bradnam (Cober)
BRADNAM, Leoda Fern – With thanksgiving for a wonderful life well lived, the family of Leoda Bradnam announces her peaceful passing at the Port Colborne Hospital on Monday, October 30, 2017 in her 87th year. Beloved wife of the late Gordon Bradnam. Cherished mother of Michael Bradnam (Judy), Gloria Haworth (Kenneth), Calvin Bradnam (Darlene) and Art Bradnam. Proud and loving grandmother of Craig David Bradnam (Devlin), Phillip Bradnam, Joline Cichocki and great-grandmother of Katie, Owen and Aurora. Also survived by many nieces and nephews. Predeceased by her father Harvey Cober, brothers Alvin and Myron and grandsons Rodney and Josh.
Leoda devoted her life to serving God through her family and friends. She was an active member of Boyle Brethren-in-Christ Church, leading the Friendship Club along with serving with several ministries. She volunteered for many years at the Christian Benefit Store in Welland. Her children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren were her greatest treasures and her legacy of love and kindness will live on through all who knew her.
The family will receive friends at the H.L. Cudney Funeral Home, 241 West Main Street, Welland on Thursday, November 2nd from 11 a.m. – 1 p.m. A service to celebrate Leoda’s life will be held in the Cudney Chapel at 1 p.m. followed by interment at Hillside Cemetery.
