It is with great sorrow that we announce that a kind, gentle, good-humoured, and loving man, Allen Wilson, died suddenly and peacefully at home on December 18th, 2017. Allen is survived by his wife, Judi; his sons, Steven and Michael; their spouses, Carrie and Corrine; his grandchildren, Lucas, Emerson, Liam, Ellis, and Sloane. He is predeceased by his brother, Gary. He leaves behind his brothers, Grant and Glenn; his brother-in-law, Gene; four sisters-in-law, Pam, Charlene, Lois, and Nita;… Read More » and all of their families. Allen acted as an advocate for world peace as a member of International Physicians for the Prevention of Nuclear War. He was a lifelong learner, pursuing a variety of passions including photography, meditation, running, tai chi, golf, and karate. We will hold an open house at Judi’s home on Wednesday, December 27th from 2 – 5 p.m. Valet driveway service provided. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Stephen Lewis Foundation or Seva Canada.
