Peacefully at the Pembroke Regional Hospital on Thursday February 16, 2017, in his 82nd year. Laurier Bertrand of Pembroke, beloved husband of Marie Bertrand (nee Brazeau). Loved father of Kenneth Bertrand (Meg), Neil Bertrand (Chantal) and Laurie McBride (Andrew) all of Pembroke. Loving grandfather to Kyle, Brandon (Amika), Bryan, Jonathon, Orrin and Jared and great grandchildren Ella and Noah. Laurier was predecease by 21 brothers and sisters. Respecting Laurier’s wishes cremation has taken place. Private Family Interment. In memory of Laurier, donations to the Ontario Heart and Stroke Foundation would be appreciated.
