Bathurst – Mrs. Laurette
Boudreau, 79, spouse of the late Lorenzo Boudreau, passed away on
Thursday, January 12, 2017 at the Foyer Notre-Dame-de-Lourdes,
Bathurst.
Born in Saint Jean-Baptist,
Restigouche County, NB, she was the daughter of the late Patrick and
Lina (Godin) Charron.
Through her working years,
Laurette, “Maison De Beaute Lorette”, established
herself as a specialist in many facets of the beauty sector including
aesthetics, wigs, beauty products as well as fashion accessories in
her boutique. She followed and attended national and
international workshops and conventions to further her knowledge of
the beauty and fashion business. She was a member of the
Bathurst Chamber of
Commerce.
She was predeceased by an
infant brother and sister, Roger and
Raymonde.
She is survived by two
daughters: Ghislaine McLeod (Douglas) of Toronto, ON and
Gisele Chiasson (Marcel) of Bathurst. Four
brothers: Marcel (Lynn) of Bathurst, Fernand (Donna) of
Bathurst, Jacques (Jackalyn) of Bathurst, Raymond (Doris) of
Kitchener, ON. Three sisters:
Fernande Theriault (Pierre)
of Fredericton, Janette Power (Allie) of North Tetagouche and Jeannine
Charron of B.C.
We wish to express our
sincere gratitude and thanks to each and everyone for your excellent
care of our mother during her stay at the Foyer
Notre-Dame-de-Lourdes.
There will be no
visitation. Funeral mass will be celebrated on Wednesday
January 18, 2017 at 11:00 am at Sacred Heart Cathedral, 123 St. Andrew
St, Bathurst. Internment will take place in the spring at
Unite Pastorale Saints-Coeurs de Jesus Marie, Petit
Rocher.
Donations in memory of
Laurette may be made to a charity of the donor’s
choice.
Arrangements are in the
professional care of Elhatton’s Funeral Home (www.elhatton.com) in
Bathurst.
